CapEd takes your safety and security seriously. We make protecting your personal information, privacy, and financial security a top priority. We employ modern technology and strict policies to keep the information you entrust us with safe.

Methods of Contact

CapEd will never contact you via email, phone, or text asking you for your personal information or account details.

If you receive a suspicious call, text, or email from someone claiming to be from CapEd, please contact us by calling (208) 884-0150 or toll-free at (800) 223-7283. Do not reply to any suspicious emails or texts. If a suspicious caller is on the phone, simply hang up and call CapEd directly. Do not dial any phone numbers a suspicious caller might provide to you.

Your Account Information

CapEd will not provide your account information to someone who is not an account signer.

While this may be an inconvenience at times, we take your privacy very seriously. Someone may attempt to gain access to your account information by making a deposit or inquiry. CapEd will not provide someone who is not an account signer with your member number or account information. If someone makes a deposit or a payment on your behalf, a receipt will be emailed to the email address we have on file, if there is no email address on file, we will mail the receipt to your address.

Fraud Protection

CapEd is committed to protecting you and your accounts with advanced fraud protection solutions. The Falcon network monitors debit cardholder transactions 24/7. Cardholders will be contacted by the Falcon call center analysts if any suspicious transactions occur on their card. Cards may be restricted until confirmation is received that the transactions are not fraudulent. The CapEd card office reviews daily reports to ensure any member with suspicious transactions has been called and will follow up with assistance as needed.

Please be aware that CapEd and Falcon will only contact cardholders via phone numbers in our database or by mail. We will not contact you via email or ask you to connect to any website link. If you receive an email fraud notice concerning your debit card with us, please contact our card office immediately by calling (208) 884-0150 or (800) 223-7283.

  • Sign up for eStatements and eBanking, our online banking platform.
  • Reconcile your statements each month and check for irregularities.
  • Report unauthorized credit or unauthorized debit transactions immediately.
  • Report lost or stolen checks, debit cards, and credit cards immediately.
  • Get Identity Theft Protection.
