90th Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting will consist of a Business Meeting where we elect officials and update you on the state of our Credit Union. As the number of nominees equals the number of Board positions to be filled, there will be no nominations from the floor, and the elections will not be conducted by ballot.

Nominations

Carmen 'Liz' Correa has extensive knowledge in Individual and Small Business Tax Accounting. She received her B.S. in Accountancy from Boise State University in 2002. Liz became an Accredited Business Accountant and Accredited Tax Preparer in September 2007 and became an Enrolled Agent in May 2013. Liz is one of the longest acting board members and past Chairwoman of The Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, past Treasurer for the Idaho Hispanic Foundation, and was awarded with the first ever "The Honorable Judge Sergio A. Gutierrez, Excellence in Service" award in September 2018. This is largely due to Liz's philanthropic heart for giving. Liz lives in Nampa, Idaho and is a proud mom of her teenage son, Julian. When not working, Liz and Julian enjoy watching sports together among many other extracurricular outdoor activities. Liz was appointed to the CapEd Board in February 2019.

Dr. Phil Gore is the Chief Learning Officer for the Idaho School Boards Association. He is in his 19th year working in school board development nationally. A champion for exceptional governance, Phil is co-editor of Improving School Board Effectiveness: A Balanced Governance Approach. He is a nationally known researcher, author, and speaker. Prior to working in school governance, Phil was a pastor and youth minister for twenty years. When he is not assisting school boards and superintendents, Phil enjoys hiking, mountain climbing, kayaking, and long-distance running with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Dr. Phil was appointed to the Board in October 2024.

Joe Kelly is retired from the West Ada School District where he was the District Administrator of Assessment and Accountability. He had worked in the District since 1996. Joe brought a great deal of experience to that position, as well as a very distinguished military career. Joe served on the CapEd Supervisory Committee from December 2008 through January 2011. Joe was elected to the CapEd Board in February 2011.

Jaime Rogers is a Human Resources professional with experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. As the HR Manager at TOK Commercial, Jaime supports employees and leadership by handling day-to-day HR needs, helping team members with career development, and ensuring policies and processes run smoothly. Before transitioning into HR, she worked at CapEd Credit Union, where she supported members with financial services and account management, building a strong foundation in customer service and operations. Jaime holds a bachelor's degree in human resources from Boise State University and has earned her SHRM-CP certification. Jaime was appointed as an Associate Board Member in April 2025.
