An Inside Look
Originally constructed in 1977, our Thunderbolt branch was our first branch location in the Treasure Valley and initially housed both our corporate headquarters, as well as teller stations to serve our members. It's the most well-known of our branches and can often be busy during peak errand hours.
Because of how long we've served the Boise community, Thunderbolt has accumulated some nicknames over the years. The most popular alternative branch names include "CapEd's Main Branch," the "Cole and Franklin branch," "Tbolt," and, our personal landmark-related favorite, "the CapEd branch by the mall."
At Thunderbolt, you'll find a traditional teller counter, coin machine, and a convenient stop for your banking needs on the way to or from the shops in Boise Town Square.
