Your credit report may be obtained at no cost to you up to three times a year. You may request one free copy of your credit report annually from all three major credit reporting agencies::

We recommend you request one report at a time, and space your requests out about every four months so you can monitor your credit over the course of the year. To obtain a credit report from one of the above three reporting agencies, you can do one of the following:

  1. Go to AnnualCreditReport.com and select the red button that says "Request your free credit reports."
  2. Call 1-800-322-8228.
  3. Complete the Annual Credit Report Request form and mail it to:
    Annual Credit Report Request Service
    P.O. Box 105281
    Atlanta, GA 30348-5281

The Annual Credit Report website is authorized by federal law by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Other websites may offer free reports, but they may only give you a free report if you buy other products or services from them, or bill you for services that you will have to cancel later.
