CapEd Credit Union’s Board of Directors has selected Ray Lindley to serve as its new President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mr. Lindley will join CapEd Credit Union on June 2, 2025. Long-time CapEd CEO, Todd Erickson, will complete his leadership role in mid-June. Mr. Erickson announced his retirement in late 2024. Erickson began his career with CapEd in 1995 and has served as President/CEO since 2008. CapEd’s Board of Directors engaged DDJ Myers, an ALM First Company, to conduct a national search for the new President/CEO.
“We’re excited to welcome Ray as our next President/CEO,” says Barbara Olic-Hamilton, Board Chair for CapEd Credit Union. “His authentic, people-focused leadership style starts from his belief that he can learn something from everyone, so he builds time in his schedule to meet with every employee on a regular basis. Ray believes that you grow a workforce by listening to other opinions. He will guide CapEd into the future and ensure that our top priority remains members’ trust and their financial well-being.”
A senior executive with over 28 years of financial services industry experience, Lindley has held positions across the country and has experience leading and working in various business models. “It is an honor to join the CapEd team,” says Lindley. “Getting to know the Board and learning more about the organization has cemented my belief that CapEd truly is southern Idaho’s premier financial institution and is poised to deliver even more value in the future. I am excited to be part of such a robust Credit Union with roots in education and a strong commitment to empowering members while enhancing their financial well-being.”
Lindley is a Certified Credit Union Executive. He earned both his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Northwest Nazarene University. He is also an active industry and community volunteer.
