As a valued member of CapEd Credit Union, your financial well-being is our top priority. We know how expensive getting proper protection of your assets can be. Our new Estate Planning services will provide you and your family with the peace of mind that comes with documenting your final wishes and directives.
Why are we offering Estate Planning products to members?
- A recent study showed that 68% of Americans lack a valid Will and other estate planning documents due to the perception that the process is complex and expensive.
- With our new products, you will receive access to affordable Will, Trust and Power of Attorney packages at a fraction of the cost.
How do the new CapEd and Legal Karma Estate Planning products work?
- Log in to your CapEd eBanking account, navigate to the Financial Planning tab and then select Legal Karma. (This feature is not accessible on the CapEd Mobile eBanking app.)
- You can pick from the menu of documents and answer a guided questionnaire.
- Once you submit, your answers will be used to create your estate plan and your plan will be ready within 3-5 business days.
- You’ll receive your documents by email and you can get them notarized at a local CapEd branch. You can also access your plan in the Legal Karma portal through the CapEd eBanking website.
- If you have any questions, you can call the Legal Karma member support team at (208) 692-5275. You can also access the Legal Karma live chat from 9am - 6pm CST Monday - Friday within the Legal Karma portal through CapEd eBanking.
